Movement disorders are conditions in which movements of the face, arms or legs are not natural. They can be divided into cases where body movements become slow or stiff, and cases where there is too much movement.

Treatment begins after the cause of the condition is accurately diagnosed through tests such as a neurological examination and brain imaging.
Many of these conditions are slowly progressive degenerative diseases of the nervous system, so it is important to make a long-term treatment plan, check symptoms regularly and treat with the right method and dose. For some conditions, such as Parkinson's disease and essential tremor, surgery may be performed when the disease becomes too severe to control with medication.
