After stitch removal
Using a special catheter, inflammation, nerve adhesions and swelling around the spinal nerves are removed mechanically and chemically. Medication is delivered to the symptomatic disc or inflamed area to reduce inflammation.
Chronic shoulder and neck pain
Severe cervical disc herniation
Pain that persists even with rest
A diagnosis is made by checking for joint abnormalities on X-ray, or by checking the ligament lesion directly with ultrasound.
After local anesthesia of the neck, a special catheter is inserted while viewing the lesion directly with C-arm X-ray fluoroscopy.
Where nerves are damaged by foraminal stenosis from disc herniation or bone spurs, medication (hypertonic saline, anti-adhesion agents, etc.) is injected through the catheter to remove nerve adhesions, inflammation and swelling around the spinal nerves.
